What is the difference between the Learn to Read boxed kits and the Hooked on Phonics App + Practice Packs program?

Our complete boxed kits include everything you need to teach your child(ren) to read, Pre-K through 2nd grade with DVDs (or online content), robust workbooks and storybooks. Our App + Practice Packs program is also a comprehensive reading program which run Pre-K through early 2nd grade, and includes digital learning through our award-winning App for up to three kids on up to three devices. In addition, one set of hands-on materials mailed to your door each month to round out your child’s skills with letter writing and skill practice through a colorful workbook and hands-on storybooks. With the boxed kits, you can move at your own pace through the entire program, as you’ll receive it all at once – and with the App + Practice Packs, you can move at your own pace through the App and will receive new hands-on materials monthly.

Note, the Hooked on Phonics App + Practice Packs and the Learn to Read boxed kits were developed as standalone products and will not directly correlate to each other. If you plan to use the App with the boxed kits, it will be a powerful supplemental material rather than an integrated part of the printed program.
