Talk about what you're reading and ask about your
child's current favorite book.

Talk about new words you've recently learned
reading and show your child how to look a word
up in the dictionary.

If your child is in school, ask what their teacher has
read to them this week, and whether they enjoyed it.

Talk about all the different types of texts one can
read, from comics to newspapers, online articles
to billboards and discuss how reading helps you
navigate the world, learn new things and have more fun!

As your child acquires more reading skills, it will unlock
a whole world of possibilities and experiences. It helps
if you take an active role in getting them excited about
this transition!

Don't forget, you can join our Facebook Groups
to share tips and ask questions to other real
parents about helping your child succeed with reading.

Also, don't forget: We encourage you to repeat
levels as many times as needed for your child
to progress with confidence. Luckily, kids love repetition!
